Role Overview
As a department head and direct advisor on the President's team, You are the guardian of DR2’s data, digital communications, and internal knowledge systems. You ensure that information flows securely and efficiently across all domains of the revolution. Working in close partnership with the CTO, you will build a team of cybersecurity and IT professionals who defend DR2’s infrastructure and uphold the sovereignty of its systems and users.
Key Responsibilities
InfoSec Leadership: Design and enforce robust security policies for all DR2 digital assets, including communications systems, internal data, and external-facing platforms.
Data Infrastructure Oversight: Secure the architecture through which DR2’s information flows, ensuring reliability, privacy, and resistance to infiltration or manipulation.
Cross-Domain Coordination: Ensure smooth and secure flow of information between strategy, operations, tech, policy, and other DR2 teams — no silos, no leaks.
Crisis Response Systems: Lead incident detection, response, and recovery protocols for cyber threats, breaches, or infrastructure failures.
Team Building: Build and lead a department of revolutionaries who are both mission-aligned and aligned with the best practices in cybersecurity.
Strategic Partnership with CTO: Work in close alliance with the Chief Technology Officer to integrate security, scalability, and resilience into every digital system DR2 develops.

Built or managed information architectures that others trusted completely.
Led teams through high-stakes security incidents with calm and control.
Previous professional experience as Deputy CISO, CISO, or CIO.
Nice To Have
Experience managing cybersecurity in mission-driven settings.
Familiarity with zero-trust models.
Background in crisis response, breach mitigation, and incident recovery.
Worked closely with executive teams to align security with vision.
Experience securing systems used by activist or political communities.
Comfortable building defenses in environments with evolving threats.
